BookTastic Bedford is an annual children’s book festival designed to generate a love of reading in all children, regardless of background.

Get kids to love reading and love books and the literacy will take care of itself…

We are bringing a fantastic programme of children’s authors into Bedford schools! Check out our programme here

We are raising funds to enable us to give the gift of a book to every child attending our Schools Festival in Bedford 3-7 July 2023. Each child will receive a copy of the author they see at the BookTastic Schools BookFestival.  Just £4 will go a long way to buying a book for child! Be part of inspiring the next generation to read and love books.

BookTastic BookFest Bedford has been bringing children’s authors to the Bedford’s community and into our schools for 8 years bringing a real sense of excitement around books and reading to our children.
